Tips to ease menstrual pain
- When it comes to food, we have to avoid consuming caffeine and candies and avoid consuming proteins.
- The heat produced by a tepid bath, a bag with hot water placed over the pelvic area, a cushion or electric blanket will help to relieve the pain.
- Making constant physical activity will help our blood circulation and consequently it will relieve our period discomfort. Avoid tight cloth; drinking hot infusions will also help us in this process.
Infusions to relieve menstrual pain
Camomile and mallow infusions, are really effective, here we teach you how to prepare them.
Camomile. We have to use the flowers for this infusion. Put 2 teaspoonfuls of chamomile in a cup with hot water. Let it rest for 5 minutes, strain it and drink.
Mallow. In this case we have to use leafs and do the same process as in the previous case.
Types of dysmenorrhea
There are two types of dysmenorrhea, primary and secondary
