Thyme is a good expectorant used for sore throats or throat infections, so an infusion made by thyme, lemon and honey will act on the throat infection and will release pain.
First, boil some water and place a tablespoon of thyme. Let it sit for 10 minutes and then strain. If necessary, warm the preparation and add ½ lemon juice and a tablespoon of honey. Drink the infusion slowly many times a day, taking small sips. - Honey, Grapefruit and Cinnamon recipe to soothe a sore throat
