The first thing to do is to treat the problem from the inside and reduce fat food intake. After that, you can take into account some of the following tricks to have a healthy hair:

Natural treatments to control oily hair

  • Aloe Vera Treatment for Oily Hair:
    Cut two or three Aloe Vera leaves, separate the pulp and blend them. Apply this cream on the whole scalp for an hour.Then repeat the procedure 4 times a week. After that, keep the preparation in a cool place. Aloe Vera plant is good for standardizing the sebaceous secretions levels.
  • Horsetail Tea for Oily Hair:
    Add 2 tablespoons of horse chestnut dry leaves in a boiling water cup and let it rest for 15 minutes. Strain and store the tea in a little bottle and then apply it after shampoo with still wet hair.

"Remember to apply the products with massages on the whole scalp so that products can work properly on hair."

  • Clay Treatment for Oily Hair:
    Put 100 grams of white kaolin clay in a bowl and slowly add warm water until getting a creamy paste. The white kaolin clay is available in any craftsman supply store. Apply the preparation on the scalp with deep and firm massages right after preparing it because this paste cannot be stored in the fridge. Let it rest for 10 minutes and finally thoroughly rinse the hair with plenty of water. Excellent results if repeated weekly.
  • Vinegar Rinse for Oily Hair:
    Dissolve a glass of vinegar with a liter of water and apply on the scalp after the final rinse.
  • Beer Rinse for Oily Hair:
    Rinse the hair with beer after the shampoo and finally thoroughly rinse the hair with plenty of water.
  • Lemon Lotion Homemade Treatment:
    Mix two lemons juice with two cups of distilled water and store it in a bottle. Then, wash the hair with an oily hair shampoo, dry it with a towel and thoroughly apply the lotion to the hair. Keep it on for 5 minutes and rinse. Lemon has astringent properties that control hair and skin oiliness.
  • Hamamelis Water:
    Mix Hamamelis water (skin tonic) with oral rinse in equal parts. Apply this preparation on the scalp with a piece of cotton after the shower.
  • Nettle Treatment for Oily Hair:
    Prepare a nettle infusion and apply it with soft massages on the scalp after shampoo.
  • Mint Natural Rinse:
    Prepare two cups of boiling water with a handful of fresh mint leaves. Then, strain the infusion and apply as a final rinse after shampoo. Rosemary can be used instead of Mint, both are very effective.
  • Yogurt and Eggs Homemade Recipe for Oily Hair:
    Mix a natural yogurt glass with a fresh egg and apply this nutritive paste with soft massages on clean hair starting from the scalp. Keep it on for some minutes and rinse the hair to finish the treatment.

    Add a tablespoon of Magnesia Milk to the shampoo to keep hair with no oiliness for a longer time.

    Dissolve a tablespoon of bergamot oil in ¾ cup of alcohol and add 3 tablespoons of glycerin. Then, dissolve ½ cup of Marseille soap or vegetable soap in 3 cups of boiling water and add to the above mixture.
