Recipes for making Crepes
Crepes, creps or pancakes are delicious options for lunch, coffee breaks or also for dinner entries.
Crepes are very easy to make. Basically, they are a paste that can be filled in with many options. They can be sweet joined with ice cream or whipped cream or the can be savory filled in with vegetable pieces or deli meat.
How to Make the Crepe Mixture
We need the following ingredients to make the crepe mixture:
- 1 cup of milk.
- ½ all purpose flour.
- 2 teaspoons sugar.
- 1 egg.
- A pinch of salt.
- 500 grams melted butter.
How to Make Crepes
To make the crepes mixture we need to blend all the ingredients at full speed. Heat the frying pan to medium-low and give a very light spray of cooking oil and spread it with a paper napkin.
Once the griddle or frying pan is hot. Drop the crepe mixture onto the heated surface. Use about a ¼ cup of the mixture for each crepe. Tilt the pan with a circular motion so that the mixture coats the surface evenly. Keep in mind that the crepe texture should be thin. Cook both sides for about 30 seconds each side until golden brown. It is important to be aware of crepes cooking because they can easily burn.
Gently remove and place on a plate. Place waxed paper between cooked crepes to prevent sticking. Then give the pan another light spray of cooking oil and drop again the crepe mixture onto the heated surface to repeat the procedure.

Crepe Sweet Fillings
One option is to make a mango filling. You need the following ingredients:
- 160 grams crème cheese.
- ½ sweetened condensed milk.
- ½ chopped mango in syrup.
- ½ sliced mango in syrup to decorate.
To make the filling you need to blend all the ingredients, fill in the crepes with the mixture and cook in the oven for 4 minutes. Once ready decorate with the mango slices and serve with a vanilla ice cream cup.
